Currently I'm learning to consolidate using the multiple workbooks feature, and if I'm not mistaken the available export modules are operational exports, working capital exports and asset exports. Does it mean that I have to build the rest of the export modules (debt, other balance sheet items, etc) from scratch in order to make perfectly consolidated workbooks?
Thank you.
Hi Iman,
The export modules provided in the Modano content library have been provided as a starting point for exporting parts of a financial model, which you can import into linked modular workbooks in order to do a consolidation. However, they do not include content such as debt, ordinary equity and corporate taxation, as these are assumed to be recalculated during consolidation. They also don't currently include other items, such as other balance sheet items, which you will need to export and import using your own modules.
Consolidations are near the top of our list of things to build more modules for, as we've not yet created a complete range of modules to fully automate it. So you will need to create some custom modules yourself in the interim period.
Here's another forum post about consolidations that you might find interesting, although it's not focused on using multiple workbooks:

Thank you Michael!
