How do you add a new classification for a multi unit business model

Hi

I have the two in-built business unit classifications, but I would like to make a third one e.g title would be "Store format" and the two options would be "full fitout" and "pop-up"

Any step guide to do this from the community would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi Ben,

This one you may want to get some support credits and assistance from the team. You do need some understanding of a few things namely Global Lists and Customising Module Components. There are other things you also should understand, but those are the keys for this exercise. I can give you some high level direction, but probably best to jump onto support.

Firstly, you'll need to create a new Global List for the new classification (through insert category block)

You'll also need to repeat this as a lookup table

You'll then need to update the Business Unit modules with the classification, which you can now reference from the Time Series Global List you've created. Both the name + the dropdown. You will then need to summarise the classification in the summary section below.

Once you've done that then you'll need to create a new module component in the Business Units output to house the new output for the new Classification.

You can actually replicate the formulas used in the other outputs, obviously adjusting for the new classification. This is where you would insert your new Global List blocks as well to ensure consistency of your block.

Once you've fixed that up, you can then update the Dashboards as well, but I haven't gone and done that step.

Hope that helps.
