Hello there. Please if anyone can give me some help with my question. Sometimes when i build the model I make quick calculations at different places to check things. when I use the modano software it is not like in normal excel and causes issues. Especially in columns outside time series columns. why is this? how is the best way to make these rough calculation while building the model? thank you very much
Hi Iliya. Modano does take a little more organisation. If you wish to enter content out to the right of the time series analysis, then all you need to do is set up a column area for this.
As you can see from the following, the active range of the module is only out to column S (you can't just start typing out to the right of the content).
I typically just enter the word "Workings" to the right of the time series period title sets. Technically, this creates a new period title set, which then allows your to build more content underneath it. Some people put more specific headings, such as a "Total" column, etc. but "Workings" will suffice if you're putting a range of calcs here. Note: because Modano handles the consistency, this "Working" heading will be visible on all worksheets of the same period title set. Does this help? Cheers. J.
