I'm hitting an issue with an Import from xls -> Modano model, where I have a single category block that I don't want to break up (COGS that is part of a bespoke Inventory arrangement), where I want to import from TWO different xls source files. The problem is that my current experience doing this overwrites the whole Category block, notwithstanding only "adding" to defined lines in each case.
This feels like a really "nice to have", and assume is not possible right out of the box (otherwise why not enable it), BUT wanted to check with the community that a) I am fully understanding limitations of the import and b) if anyone has come across a neat solution.
My fallback is to re-develop the Inventory mechanism, but really is a last resort.
Copy/paste will get me by for now of course....

Perhaps I'm missing something here but can't you simply uncheck the Reset existing assumptions check box and check the Add to existing assumptions check box within the mapping step of the Import Assumptions tool to supplement existing assumptions rather than replace them - as per below?
