Apologies I just saw this. Given the number of different initiatives we're pursing right now, the Financial Modeling World Cup isn't really on our radar, but you're more than welcome to have a crack yourself if you're passionate about it.
Our understanding from prior discussions with the organisers of these types of events is that they're focused on old school manual financial modeling challenges, and disallow automation technology including Modano. I recall being told that we were trying "to bring a machine gun to a knife fight" by one modeling competition organiser.
One thing we have discussed is creating a global Modano modular financial modeling competition, which would allow Modano users to bring their own module libraries into a battle for the crown of best modular financial modeler, potentially across different industries and types of models. This would be really cool, but we quite simply don't have the bandwidth right now to give it the time and energy it would deserve.
