Was wondering if any had experience or tips for converting from Monthly Historical, Forecast to just Forecast.
Surprise surprise, the team love the Modano model outputs, just now asking the model to do this is was not intended for originally.
I want all the same calculations or modules - just no historical.

How heavily customized are the modules in your model?
As you're probably aware we don't build modules to work on different time series constructs - we did this years ago and it over-complicated things - so it's not easy changing the time series of your model.
If you've heavily customized modules, I'd consider simply hiding the historical financial statements and historical periods in the all periods financial statements, which will achieve the same outcome albeit it a hack. You'll just need to leave the last historical balance sheet period visible as it will become your opening balance sheet.
This hack will suffice for a project-specific model, but if you're building modules and templates for re-use you will need to build new modules for forecast-only time series.
On the upside, moving from historical & forecast to forecast-only is a lot easier than moving from forecast-only to historical & forecast!
